One of my favorite books: Catherine, Called Birdy by Karen Cushman Why? If you like medieval time stories this one is really interesting, we follow a 14-year-old girl through the pages of her diary. I read it when I was about that age and I was surprised at how many things were relatable (except for the marriage… Continue reading Book recommendation challenge: Day 30
Book someone recommended me: The Giver by Lois Lowry Why? My sister recommended this one to me and I really enjoyed it. I wished I read it when I was younger. I look forward to reading the next book in the series if it is like the first one I will finish it in a matter of hours.

Pulitzer prize winner : To kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee Why? I read this one a long time ago. In such a tender way, as a child's point of view talks about such important topics. I loved the writing style and I think is a book most people should read (even outside the US).
A banned book: 1984 by George Orwell Why? This book is an eye-opener for many. Among many dystopian books, this is one of the ones that has come partially true. It does have a negative connotation of communism do is not a surprise it was banned.
